Look at this sweet little man!  This is our new resident, Mowgli (or at least that’s what we’ve begun calling him).  He is 4 months old and has found his way here via a devoted dog rescuer who took him in, vaccinated him, and had been caring for him for 6 weeks before he came here.  Coming to the Wag Factory, Mowgli is severely unsocialized with humans and has extreme fear of basically everyone that comes near him; he doesn’t resist or show aggression….he just freezes in distress:( However, he does great with other dogs and is eager to meet them and play, so daycare has been great for him! 

As far as interacting with us goes, Mowgli has already made progress and allows us to approach him, pet him, and even hold him.  You can already tell that he is becoming more relaxed with the constant attention, and he got his first bath today!  We are extremely optimistic about Mowgli’s future and are excited to work with him until he is adoptable so he can find a lucky new family to call his own.
